Heather is a photographer with a lifetime – both professionally and personnally – behind the camera. Over the years, Heather has photographed hundreds of brides, engagement parties, weddings, models, children, seniors, families, and corporate and casual events.
Known for her meticulously perfect lighting and photographic settings, Heather has an eye for capturing the most subtle expressions. Because not every picture turns out perfect, Heather is also a creative and imaginative graphic artist.

“Born and raised in Gatesville, Texas, I was blessed with a mother who took photos of us ALL the time, doing day-to-day activities, as well as at special events. I loved the way my friends and family were captured on film, not just posed for a formal portrait. So I followed in the tradition, and always had a camera with me throughout junior high, high school, and college. It drove my friends and family crazy, yet they always wanted the photos! I went on to teach special education for seven years, and loved working with my students! “
“Health issues forced me to choose another career path, so I went back my first love – photography! I opened up my first studio in 2005 and never looked back. I’m a firm believer in education in any profession, and I keep current with classes and seminars every year. I’m a member of Professional Photographers of America and the Heart of Texas Professional Photographer’s Guild.”
“Today, I have two primary shooting locations; a studio in downtown Gatesville, and a ranch 9 miles southwest of Gatesville with 600 acres of beautiful Texas scenery. I’m very laid back in both my personal and shooting style. I believe this should be a great experience, so come ready to relax and have some fun! I’ll take care of the rest!”
