When you call for information…
I’d love to answer all your questions as thoroughly as possible, but sometimes that just isn’t reasonable. It’s similar to asking, “How much will my new house cost?” Well, that depends on the location, size, amenities, etc. There is no one right answer for that question. That’s why it’s best to come in for a FREE pre-consultation. This takes about 15-20 minutes, and we go over prices, products, clothing and location options, and answer any other questions you may have. Often times, there are numerous things you haven’t even considered that can enhance your overall experience and the final portraits.

When you come in for a pre-consultation…
I believe your photography session should be relaxed and enjoyable, but that takes some planning! It’s good to have some idea of what you are looking for. Although these ideas may change as we talk, it’s a great starting point. Look at your friend’s portraits, magazines, etc. And an idea of what you don’t like is just as important as what you do like. Bring your calendar and have some potential dates for the session in mind. At least half of the session fee is due to book your session. If not paid in full at the pre-consultation, the remainder of the session fee is due on the day of the portrait session. We’ll also set dates to view your photos as well.

RELAX! I hear it all the time, “Wow, I was worried you wouldn’t get any good pictures from us! These are great!” Let me worry about the photos. Your job is to have fun! Seniors, bring a friend and some of your favorite music. Moms, your children can feel your anxiety, so just have fun. Discipline is appreciated when needed, but for the most part, try to relax and not worry about how little Timmy is smiling. Feel free to bring a friend along for enjoyment and support. Sometimes it’s great to have an extra set of hands, or someone who can make you laugh. Also, if you will be taking portraits at the Ranch, please bring good shoes. It’s ok to bring more than one pair, but it’s hard to walk across a pasture in flip-flops or high heels! And remember, this is a working Ranch, complete with animals and all that entails. If your two year old is deathly afraid of goats, a little advance notice would be good for both of us. Our Ranch is located down several miles of dirt roads, so please choose a vehicle with a higher clearance if you have the option.

When you come in to view your portraits…
The time for an image presentation session can vary, depending on your individual personality and how much custom work is done. We will take as much time as needed to make sure you are happy with our custom products. Your order will be placed when images are viewed and payment in full is expected at that time. A 10% discount is available on all orders placed at this time. Later orders or add-ons will be at full price. Please expect a two week delivery time, unless rush orders are needed.

When your portraits are delivered…
I will call you when your portraits are ready and we will make an appointment to pick them up, or I will be happy to help you hang larger portraits in your home. I appreciate your business!
